About

Gaubshite is an artist currently based in the UK. Originally from Derry, Ireland, their work primarily focuses on film photography, exploring visual arts as a narrative tool.

This way of working has become less about documenting the outside world and more about understanding their own. Photography offers a way to see and rationalise things that are otherwise difficult to hold onto, each image acting as raw, tangible evidence of a moment, while its quieter, more subtle undertones are left to surface in their own time, unforced.
